Whitney Cusack is a director, producer and writer based in the New York/New Jersey Area.
Ever since the day her sixth grade class took a tour of her school’s television studio, she wanted to be surrounded by all things production. After participating in the Future Filmmakers Workshop at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she decided to pursue filmmaking as a full-time career.
Whitney’s work includes short dramatic narratives, fashion films, and writing and directing for small theater productions. In addition, she has worked on several award-winning independent short films and features with Goodface Films, including Migraine, Fortune House, The Quitter, Anna Smile, and the upcoming projects Last Pick-Up and Master Maggie.
Whitney currently works as a Creative Producer for a major advertising agency in New York City. Outside of work, she has been focusing her creative energy on developing short form documentary style projects that reflect the realities of the human experience. Whitney believes that filmmaking gave her the grace to speak, telling stories that captivate audiences, changing the way they see the world around them. In the future, she hopes to teach and inspire young people in need of a creative outlet in the same way her passion was sparked years ago.
