Eleanor Capaldi is a writer & director based in Scotland. They are a graduate in Film and Television from The University of Glasgow and have written journalism, short stories, spoken word, theatre and film scripts. Capaldi’s journalism has appeared in DIVA, VICE, Munchies and for the Glasgow Film Theatre. Poems and short stories have been published in Bare Fiction, Paisley Poems, and by The Skinned Knee Collective. Short film Pull was screened in competition at the Scottish Queer International Film Festival, Inverness Film Festival and Films des la Toiles. Short play Disposable, exploring the impact of period poverty, will be performed this Spring. Capaldi is interested in exploring points of connection, and the spaces in between.
