Alice Seabright is a writer and director based in London. Her last film, SEX ED, was produced via the National Film and Television School's Director's Workshop and funded by Barbara Broccoli's EON Productions. In 2016, Alice directed PREGNANT PAUSE, which starred Alexandra Roach, Nathan Stewart Jarrett and Sally Phillips, and was made through Film London's London Calling scheme. It premiered at the BFI London Film Festival and was longlisted for a BAFTA. Her first short film, DREAM GIRL, won a Virgin Media Award in 2012, and screened in Picturehouse cinemas across the UK for a year.
Alice is currently developing Film and TV projects, including TV series GIVE ME SHELTER, with Fable Pictures and Escape Plan, CHLOE, with Tally Garner of Mam Tor Productions, SAFE SPACE with Fearless Minds, and feature script OUT OF MIND, which won the 2016 Shore Scripts Screenwriting competition and the 2017 Screenwriting Goldmine competition.
Alice was a participant in Film London's Microwave scheme in 2016, through which she developed the feature film BORDERLINE with writer Miles Mantle. Aside from working on her own projects, Alice has worked in Development at Heyday Films, where she worked on PADDINGTON (dir. Paul King), THE LIGHT BETWEEN OCEANS (dir. Derek Cianfrance) and TESTAMENT OF YOUTH (dir. James Kent) and other projects at various stages of development. Prior to that, she worked as a script reader and as a Development and Production Assistant at Brilliant Films.
She is a member of directing collective Cinesisters and is represented by Harriet Pennington Legh and Becca Kinder at Troika Talent Agency.
